The Superstars: V-Z

Victoria Sikora is a slew of female alter egos of the wonderfully exuberant drag artist, Timothy Elliot. She is whatever she is, whenever she is it. Starving for work, as well as attention, she loves the occasional email at Victoria.Pixi.Lust@gmail.com where she would love to answer any questions, provide support, or discuss queer politics the best she can. Joining Timothy and Ellen, from time to time, she also can be found blogging on ItGetsMoreGay.tumblr.com, a queer help blog for the tumblr community.
Violet Fenn is a quirky, eccentric, proudly geeky trans woman studying theology at a seminary in Chicago. When not engaged in academia, she can be found speaking in meow to her cats, Morticia and Elphaba, handling yarn and sharp pointy sticks, flirting, and searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
Waymon Hudson is a vocal LGBT activist, advocate, and writer. He is President and Co-Founder of Fight OUT Loud, a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping LGBT individuals and their allies fight discrimination and hate. Waymon is also a regular contributor and on the editorial team of the Bilerico Project, the nation’s leading LGBT blog forum. He and his husband, Anthony Niedwiecki, live in Chicago, Illinois, where they are the proud foster parents of a now college-aged son. Waymon has been a voice for full equality for the LGBT community for many years, doing everything from organizing multiple large-scale protests to working within the political system to affect change. Whether he is marching in the streets, organizing online, or working on campaigns, his goals remains the same: to challenge the forces of bigotry, hate, and ignorance.
Dr. Yasmin Nair is a Chicago-based writer, activist, academic, and commentator.  The bastard child of queer theory and deconstruction, Nair has numerous critical essays, book reviews, investigative journalism, op-eds, and photography to her credit.  Her work has appeared in publications like GLQThe Progressivemake/shiftTime Out ChicagoThe Bilerico Project, Windy City TimesBitchMaximum Rock’n’Roll, and No More Potlucks.
